City engineer Randy Leptien, who was recognized by the Albany City Council Monday, will retire after working for the city for more than 23 years. Leptien was hired by the city as an engineering consultant in 1989. A 2012 resolution of the City of Albany acknowledging services provided to the City by LCC and Randy Leptien. This resolution was presented to me in November of 2012 following conclusion of Mr. Leptien's services as Contract City Engineer.
