Exergy Engineering was formed in 2006 following the closure of a Robert Bosch Corporation fuel systems research and development facility in Kentwood, Michigan, but the roots of our company go back a lot further.
Our story begins in 1944 when as part of General Motors our former department began producing mechanical unit injectors for Detroit Diesel Corp.
That division of General Motors was later sold off to Roger Penske under the name Diesel Technology Company (DTC).
Following the success of the world's first electronic unit injector, the Series 60, the Robert Bosch Corporation acquired DTC in 1999.
