MD Structural Engineering, Inc. (MDS), specializes in the structural design and retrofit of new and existing structures with an extensive portfolio of projects located throughout the Pacific Northwest. We have a rich history of developing relationships with our clients where their input forms the core of each design. We take pride in our ability to consistently provide creative, efficient, and cost effective engineering solutions that meet each individual client's needs.
That consistency starts with our engineers. Each of our Supervising Engineers has a minimum of ten years of experience and are licensed at the highest level in their profession. Each project starts with a design team dialog to determine the best approach for the structural system. MDS works with the project team to determine most efficient structural design solution that meets the projects architectural needs.
Once the architectural design has been finalized, MDS begins the structural design phase. For each structure, the design process starts with the determination of a complete vertical and lateral load path.
