Prior to starting a private practice he was employed as an engineer with the Washington Department of Natural Resources.
He earned his master's degree in Forest Engineering at Oregon State University and is a licensed Land Surveyor and Engineer.
Jerry is responsible for establishing standards and procedures at OEI.
Jerry is active in many professional organizations.
He is a Member Emeritus and has held leadership positions in both the Washington State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, and the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying.
