Whitchurch Engineering has received the 2019 Best Projects Award from Engineering News-Record in the Energy/Industrial category in the ENR California region for our work on the Humboldt Bay Power Plant Decommissioning Project. Whitchurch Engineering is celebrating its 25th anniversary this month. When owners Lisa and Leonard Whitchurch founded the company, they moved their son Brett out of his room to make space for an office.
Fast forward a couple decades and Brett is now employed as a leading structural engineer at Whitchurch Engineering. Whitchurch Engineering is proud to have been selected as 2019's Business of the Year by the Fortuna Chamber of Commerce! Every year, the Chamber recognizes. The competition was fierce this year, but we are happy to announce that Whitchurch Engineering has won the 2020 People's Choice Award for our table-top decorations at the Fortuna Chamber of Commerce Awards Dinner.
