Eckermann Engineering, Inc. was founded by Derrek Eckermann, P.E. in 2008. Prior to starting EEI, Mr. Eckermann had six and a half years of experience in the civil engineering field working with a consulting firm in Austin.
While at his previous employment, Mr. Eckermann obtained a great deal of design experience working on various types of projects including roadway widening and reconstruction, water and wastewater systems, hike and bike trails, sidewalks, site development and utility coordination on many large projects throughout the state.With the addition of Sam Walker, P.E.
LEED AP, Marshal Brewer, P.E., Elizabeth Neal, P.E., and Will Nash, EIT, to Eckermann Engineering, the firm has been able to expand its expertise in site development, entitlements, sustainable design, traffic engineering, and regulatory approval services.
