WAYNESBORO - Waynesboro's New Hope Shelter has re-opened, after passing an inspection Friday.
Spokesman Lynn Graham said that although the shelter passed the inspection, some cleanup remains to be done.
Shelter staff have 30 days to complete that, and Graham was confident they will get it done.
At the time of the closing, Graham said 22 residents, including 10 children from four families, had to be relocated from the shelter and many found temporary housing with staff members.
Eight people also went to the Friendship Baptist Church in Waynesboro, which was serving as a cold weather shelter.
