RLC Engineering
RLC provides innovative electrical engineering solutions, tailored to fit the specific needs of each of our clients. Our engineers bring extensive experience in the study, planning, and design of complex power systems, understanding the need for efficiency, flexibility, attention to detail, and value for money invested. RLC believes in providing our customers with the most reliably engineered planning and design to accommodate the energy demands of today's world.

BNRG has worked closely with the team at RLC in the last few years. They are a good size and coordinated practice with a sensible multi-disciplinary approach which is both efficient and effective. Their in-depth knowledge of the grid networks in New England has been invaluable to BNRG's strategic approach to development. Most importantly, we enjoy working with the RLC Team.

Distributed Energy Resource Ground Fault Overvoltage Impacts to Rural Sub-Transmission Systems. Interconnections of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) have increased to a point where power may flow upstream through utility distribution substation transformers into the regional power grid.
Services
These three qualities drive everything that RLC sets out to do as we plan, design, and engineer facilities that meet our client's financial, technical, and scheduling goals.
We provide our customers with reliable engineering, planning and design to accommodate the energy demands of today's ever-changing world.
RLC's goal is to provide the electrical studies and planning of today that will fuel the ideas of tomorrow.
RLC's mission is to provide professional consulting services and innovative solutions for our clients, while providing an enriching work environment that encourages personal development and job satisfaction for our employees.

Providing engineering solutions to complex power systems focusing on a variety of energy related markets.
Combining our unique understanding of this environment with prospective institutional and industrial client's needs for efficient energy use and improved energy security.
Brian has over 33 years experience in the electric utility industry, holding positions in Meter Engineering and Distribution Engineering, managing the Maine Energy Control Center, and directing an Electric System Engineering organization before focusing on Smart Grids.
While working in Smart Grids, Brian delivered a single, integrated EMS/DMS/OMS serving two operating companies and control rooms, and he developed the smart grids technology platform and implementation roadmap for AVANGRID.
Brian is a senior member of IEEE and former chair of both the Maine Section and the Central New England Council.
Power Engineering was created based on the addition of key employees with extensive energy backgrounds.
They encompass over two decades of design, cost estimating, and project management engineering experience.
With this service, we address the rapidly evolving power management opportunities with commercial and industrial consumers of electricity.
RLC combines its unique understanding of this environment with prospective institutional and industrial clients' needs for efficient energy use and improved energy security.
