A new home for Friends School of Portland, a Quaker School, opened in the fall of 2015. It is part of a network of 82 schools and is the only one currently in New England. It is on track to become the third Passive House certified school building in the country. It is here where they will continue their mission to impart the principles of simplicity, peace, integrity, equality, community and stewardship, by not only how they teach, but also by how they've designed this amazing site.
