We are guided by the principal that each of us benefits from the arts, literature, architectural styles and knowledge that has been handed to us from many previous generations. We also know that each holds the responsibility for the care and safeguarding of our cultural heritage, for present and future generations. At Heritage Protection Group we take this responsibility seriously by providing professional consulting and engineering services to prevent the loss of this heritage from fires devastation.
Services
Heritage Protection Group provides fire protection engineering services for a number of United States National Park Service historic buildings.
For one of the more prominent projects HPG served as the design engineer for the complete retrofit of automatic fire sprinkler systems into the iconic Ahwahnee Hotel at Yosemite National Park.
The Vermont State House is the one of the nation's most meticulously preserved state capitol buildings.
Heritage Protection Group has been responsible for a number of fire engineering services including engineering minimally obtrusive, high sensitivity smoke detection and emergency notification systems, evaluating and identifying methods to improve the fire issuance of the historic fabric, and identifying methods to comply with contemporary egress standards without damaging the building's historic integrity.
