Bruce Ensor, Structural Engineer started in private practice in 2002 after serving as Chief Structural Engineer for Integrated Building Arts (IBA).
Before working at IBA, Bruce lived and worked in Washington DC for Skidmore Owings and Merrill and then moved to Honolulu HI on the island of Oahu.
During his six years in the Hawaii, he worked as a Structural Design Engineer and Special Inspector for Martin & Bravo Inc., Sato and Associates and Shigemura, Lau, Sakanashi, Higuchi.
Bruce formed the Professional Corporation, BE Structural, PC in 2007 and is located in Wormleysburg, PA. Bruce is certified as a Model Law Structural Engineer, MLSE, by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying.

We provided structural engineering services and were the Engineer of Record for two 16ft tall by 17ft wide glass vestibules and one (1) transom lite on K St NW in Washington DC.
We analyzed and designed glass greenhouses which varied in size according to the project.
Prior to analyzing the green house including the aluminum frames and supporting members, we had to calculate the physical and geometrical properties of the custom shapes of the greenhouse components.
Once we had all the properties, we created a 3-d computer model of the greenhouse and applied loading in accordance to the required local jurisdiction.

We partnered with a national trampoline park installer to design and engineer an indoor trampoline system configured as an obstacle course for a new, Mid Atlantic location.
The structure was designed to offer two patrons the ability to run the course and compete against each other.
