Mr. Thomas is a registered professional civil engineer with experience on both sides of the industry; twelve years with a civil engineering design firm and four years in the GPS/Surveying/Engineering department of a large Heavy/Highway contractor.
During his experience with the design consultant, Mr. Thomas was responsible for the design and approval of numerous large commercial and residential developments, including Main Street at Exton, an approximately 900,000 SF town center in Chester County, PA.
Sharing the data with the surveyor will reduce calculation time.
Reduce survey costs due to less stakeout required.
Conflicts/plan inconsistencies are uncovered ahead of time and the surveyor will have the exact same information that is in the machines.
There will be less restake charges because the survey data can be stored and recreated with rover on the jobsite.
Lower survey costs in bid to Win More Jobs.
During our procedure for preparing an accurate 3D Virtual Construction model, our certified, professional engineers will review the plans for Quality Control, Accuracy, and Potential Constructability Issues.
Quarry Center is a 35-acre, 250,000 SF retail development on the site of a former Llanerch Quarry and Landfill.
Construction Stakeout of sanitary, storm, curb, retaining walls, HOP improvements, light pole locations, building corner layout, building offsets, and interior column lines.
Red-line site work as-builts.
This project was a partially built-out residential subdivision with about 75 lots remaining.
MESH was hired to complete a topographic survey and prepare individual lot plot plans, balancing each site.
Either directly for the developer, or through their civil engineer and site contractor, we have resolved complicated design issues for many of the larger commercial sites in the mid-atlantic region.
With every site design, we keep a close eye on the cost implications and constructability of our designs.
We can also assist with Quality Control and Constructibility Reviews at any point during the process.
With the growing difficulty of today's approval process for site projects, there is an increased focus by developers and their consultants on just getting the projects approved.
