Joel E. Wood, P.E., the founder and managing partner of Joel E. Wood & Associates has over thirty-five years of engineering and management experience. Mr. Wood organized Joel E. Wood & Associates (JEWA) in March of 1999 to provide a needed service to municipalities and private clients that desire a high level of specialized service. With the addition of Christopher E. Wood, PE, JEWA was able to expand its services to include geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
Christopher Wood has a master of engineering degree in geotechnical engineering and over 15 years of experience in soil testing and analysis on major utility, building, and roadway projects. JEWA provides a complete range of services for our clients ranging from planning, design, inspection, and construction administration for civil projects to geotechnical engineering and materials testing.

The project is a very complex project that requires a high degree of control to insure compliance with design standards and CMUD's testing and inspection requirements.
