Established in January of 1987, SD Video Engineering has been providing excellent broadcast video service in the Southern California area for over 25 years. The company's founder, Sotero Delgado, first got involved in the industry in 1968 by servicing electronic Hi-Fi and color TV equipment. In the mid seventies, he started servicing VTRs for Panasonic.
He then went on to work for AMPEX Corporation, where he spent seven years as a senior field service engineer. Over the years Sotero has provided consulting and repair services for clients such as NBC, 20th Century Fox, Chainsaw, Pacific Media Technologies and Yahoo!, just to name a few. When he opened the doors to his own business, Mr. Delgado brought with him all the years of experience in the broadcast video industry.
