More than just a restroom facility for the new Elephant Lands, this building has the distinction of being the first building in Oregon to use cross laminated timber (CLT) in a structural application.The special properties of CLT were exploited to achieve a roof with cantilevers in two directions of 7 and 3 feet respectively with 4 inch thick panels.
