From municipal WWTPs ranging in size from 50,000 gpd, 100,000 gpd, 433,000 gpd and even as large as 200 million gallons per day, the Steckbeck staff provides a broad range of sewage treatment plant design expertise spanning careers of 30 years.Established in 1990, Steckbeck Engineering and Surveying, Inc. is an employee-owned consulting firm based in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

Our team of professional engineers, land surveyors, CADD technicians, inspectors and support staff offers a variety of services, including civil engineering, water and wastewater engineering, environmental engineering, electrical engineering, land surveying, subdivision and land development planning, erosion and sediment pollution control planning, NPDES permitting, parks and recreation planning, grant writing and municipal consulting.
Services
Steckbeck Engineering provides a full range of consulting services for municipalities, municipal authorities, and school districts.
We perform zoning, subdivision and land development program administration, SLDO plan reviews, MSA compliance drainage, stormwater management, traffic studies, bridge design and maintenance, parks and recreation planning and design, utility planning and design, utility operations.
We assist with compliance with state and federal regulations, with grant writing and applications, and with addressing citizen complaints.

However, even with those large project experiences, Steckbeck routinely accepts assignments of septic system designs for single family homes and small flow treatment systems for new development or for existing neighborhoods which are encountering failing on-lot systems.

With GIS, accurate mapping of infrastructure assets such as water and sewer lines, roads, utility poles, storm sewers, signage and more is combined with interactive access to the data used for the maintenance, planning and tracking of these assets.
GIS can be used to model infrastructure systems and show compliance with government regulations.
The data associated with an asset can include photos, maintenance history, inspection reports or virtually any data which is compiled into a separate file system.
