For more than 30 years, Delserro Engineering Solutions (DES) has been an industry-wide leader in the field of product reliability testing (PRT). PRT is the process of testing a product to such a degree that its latent weaknesses and potential failure modes are uncovered. Failures found during PRT allow engineers to make design changes to a product before it enters the marketplace, thereby avoiding cost-prohibitive recalls or field issues.
A pyroshock test is performed on the DES MIPS Table. Pyroshock tests are designed to simulate shock forces from the firing of missiles, rockets or other projectiles. A Shock Response Spectrum is computed from the data. DES has performed numerous pyroshock tests on a number of products for the military and aerospace industry. Accelerated Life Testing is one of our most important testing services, as it allows us to see how a product will continue to perform over a given period of time.
