Tri-Way Mold is a first class mold tooling operation serving the mold industry since 1976. Our facility shop area is 20,850 square feet and has 20 ton crane capacity. The Roseville, MI facility currently employs numerous experienced mold technicians.

After extensive research Tri-Way Mold & Engineering has linked with several reputable overseas mold builders in order to provide our customers with the option of having Tri-Way expertise of managing all aspects of the mold build from design through final approval at overseas pricing. Tri-Way Mold & Engineering has over 45 years' experience building high quality, tight tolerance injection molds, utilizing high speed CNC machining and orbital & wire EDM, from design through final approval.

All types of molds ranging from electrical connectors to interior & exterior trim parts up to 1,500 ton press size.
Services
History: Tri-Way Mold & Engineering, located in southeast Michigan, specializes in the design and manufacture of both prototype and production plastic injection molds.
In 2000, we moved to our current facility in Roseville, MI where we employ numerous experienced plastic injection mold technicians.
We have continued to provide our customers with top-quality service and lighting fast turnaround for over 45 years.
Flexibility, at Tri-Way the customer comes first, with our dedication and whatever it takes attitude we will work with the customer to satisfy their every need.
Tri-Way has been working with overseas mold tooling for over 10 years.
Many mold tooling programs that are directly sourced offshore by our customers are sent to us for 2nd stage services.
The molds are de-crated, disassembled, inspected and cleaned to remove shipping grease.
A tryout is performed and any necessary tuning to meet customer plant approval or grain approval.
Engineering changes are incorporated whenever needed.
Mold tooling programs that are built off shore and managed by Tri-Way will provide the same level of quality and mold workmanship as if built domestically, but with a cost savings of 15% to 25%.
Many well designed and constructed prototype molds can run 100,000 parts with minimal maintenance and eliminate the need for production molds.

Tri-Way Mold & Engineering understands the need for prompt and efficient service for your injection mold in the event of an emergency or scheduled repair, engineering change or preventative maintenance.
Our day and night shifts are in place to insure the fastest possible turn around and with CDL drivers on both shifts, delivery of molds up to 45,000 lb can be done anytime.
As an added service to our customers, it is standard policy to remain open during the holidays to accommodate any shut-down work.

We can manage one tool or an entire program.
Using the latest computer hardware and software technology, we can efficiently program and high-speed machine to a near no-bench finish.
With our high-speed CNC machines, CNC/EDM and Wire EDM equipment we can hold very close tolerances and fine surface finishes.
Our 20-ton cranes are capable of handling up to 3,300-ton press size molds.
