Blot Engineering Inc. (BEI) performed structural engineering services to design a 17' wide x 80' long pile-supported foundation for a new printing press inside an existing printing facility building. Blot Engineering, Inc. (BEI) provided emergency Structural Inspection Assessments for the City on several piers, docks and buildings following Hurricane Irma.
The Chiquita Lock was also inspected for damage and misalignment issues with the gates. Close coordination took place with the city to prioritize inspections, and to clear and reopen structures to the public once determined safe.
