We have provided PCA services in accordance to ASTM standards for 400+ sites.
We evaluate site characteristics, building condition, and code compliance.
Systems integrated with the building are also evaluated, examples being MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems, life safety system, fire protection systems, and conveyance systems.
TPEC staff continues to support the PWD to meet stormwater regulatory compliance through program management, risk governance, implementation tracking and environmental planning.
TPEC staff are leading the development of the Year 10 Evaluation and Adaptation Plan, the main regulatory deliverable on the development of the implementation of the 25-year Green City, Clean Waters program to reduce combined sewer overflows.
TPEC also aids the PWD's Public Affairs Division.
In 2019, TPEC staff on the Public Engagement Team led over 100 community meetings, engaged thousands of Philadelphia residents, and led the public notification process in order to build support for green infrastructure projects in Philadelphia.
New Jersey Superfund Site - TPEC staff conducted the design of the groundwater extraction and injection system.
TPEC staff also designed and provided construction oversight for a 600-gpm capacity wastewater treatment plant and a 500-cfm soil vapor extraction system for the site soil and groundwater remediation of the SJCC/GSC superfund sites.
The wastewater treatment system included iron and manganese precipitation, air stripping, granular activated carbon polishing, and pH adjustment prior to re-injecting the treated water up-gradient of the groundwater plume.
