It was first established in 1986 by the brilliant father and son team of Kenneth (Ken) & Michael (Mike) Dunaway.
Ken was a retiree from General Tire in Akron, Ohio where he was a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Mike began his electronics career in the U.S. Army prior to co-founding Custom Craft Controls.
After many years and much success, the company's headquarters was moved in 2007 to its current location on Triplett Boulevard in Akron, Ohio.
