Pavement Consultants Inc. (PCI), a professional civil engineering company, was established in 1983. The firm was founded to provide specialized expertise in pavement evaluation and management. PCI has become recognized throughout the world for the quality of the technical services its staff provides. PCI has offices in Seattle, Washington and Phoenix, Arizona.
Our staff members have been providing pavement management and evaluation services to airports since the early 1980s - Jo Lary and Jay Sharma completed a pavement management study at Denver Stapleton in 1982. This study was the first of its kind in the U.S. and paved the way for us to become leaders in the airport pavement management field. We have developed pavement management programs for many airports and airport systems to make sure they comply with FAA's pavement maintenance management requirement.
These projects have required us to inspect more than a billion square feet of airfield pavement. The inspections were completed in accordance with the current editions of FAA Advisory Circular 150/5380-6 and ASTM D 5340.
