Hill Park Engineering was established in 2011 to support the design, fabrication, and demonstration of high power radio frequency (HPRF) systems. Hill Park Engineering management and staff have over 75 years of experience supporting the development of high power, high energy RF systems, developing modulators to evaluate and characterize those systems, and supporting the development of platforms and techniques to utilize them.
Hill Park Engineering has a facility in Fredericksburg, VA that is minutes from downtown, and less than 45 minutes from Dahlgren and Quantico, VA. Designed, evaluated, and fabricated high voltage, high current switches for RFVS platforms, testbeds, and concept evaluation projects. Designed, fabricated, and operated test beds for high power semiconductors devices and high voltage modulator evaluations.
Designed, fabricated, and operated testbeds to evaluate high power tubes (magnetrons, crossfield amplifiers, klystrons, TWTs, and reltrons). Designed and managed the development of high power RF transmitters and mobile laboratories to support testing and proof of concept evaluations.
