San Benito Engineering & Surveying, Inc. is a general practice civil engineering and land surveying firm. The firm was established as W. J. Hanna & Son in 1910 by Walter J. Hanna to serve the Santa Clara, San Benito, and Monterey Counties area. The Hollister office was later split off and incorporated as San Benito Engineering & Surveying Inc. The firm provides professional services to public agencies (cities, counties, special districts) and private clients.
Services
Designed various storm drain, sanitary sewer, water main, street construction and street rehabilitation projects.
Projects included: North Street Extension connecting Santa Ana Road and Buena Vista Road; Rustic Street Storm Drain & Detention Pond, a major collector for the Northern portion of the City; Meridian Street Assessment District, providing road and utility design; Bundeson storm drain project (approximately 1.5 miles of 36" to 60"); San Juan Highway to Hillcrest Road storm drain (approximately 3 miles of 48" to 84" pipe); reconstruction of miscellaneous City streets for 1996 and 1998 Road Rehabilitation Projects.
