In 1964, Manuel and Reine Ambrosio founded M.A.R.'s Engineering Company Inc., and it has remained a family-run business ever since. M.A.R.'S Engineering has continued to grow and expand in capacity by buying new machines, adding a second operations department, and gaining many customers through word-of-mouth and referrals. Manny Blaine Ambrosio grew up learning the business, began managing by 1990, and eventually bought the business in 1996.
M.A.R.'S Engineering continued to grow even more as Manny purchased new machines and equipment to expand in the machining industry and invest in newer technology. A CNC department was opened and a Wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machine) was added to improve quality control, micro-finish, and tolerance. The EDM also sets M.A.R.'S Engineering apart from the competition with the ability to make tools as needed in-house, cutting out the cost and time required when going through outside sources.
In 2007, M.A.R.'S Engineering suffered a major fire and lost most of its screw machine department.
