After receiving his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dean joined full-time in 1979 as a Project Engineer.
Dean served as the President and CEO of Engineering Industries from 1995 until 2021. He shaped his career by taking on a variety of responsibilities and roles within the company including, project engineer, quality manager, plant manager, vice president, and president.
