Clifty Engineering employees look on as six new CNC Vertical Milling Machines are being delivered and installed. This capital investment is a direct result of expanding opportunities with our growing list of customers (Whirlpool, General Electric, Topy International, Toyota, Cummins, Arvin Sango, Madison Precision Products, Grote Industries, Rotary Lift, Indiana Kentucky Electric, Louisville Gas & Electric, Austin Tri-Hawk, Big Rapids, Bowling Green Metalforming, and others).

It also enables Clifty Engineering to more effectively compete for new Advanced Manufacturing and Aerospace customers. Clifty Engineering's Apprenticeship Training Program is registered with the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) and offers employees the opportunity to earn their Journeyman's Card as either a Machinist or Toolmaker. The training consists of 8,000 hours of on-the-job training with a skilled tradesman and 576 hours of Related Technical Instruction (RTI) over a 4-year period.

Clifty Engineering's core business is the design, build, testing and repair of metal stamping dies for the automotive and home appliance industries.
Clifty Engineering has several presses available to provide tryouts for new dies, as well as, die repair jobs.
Our presses are primarily for tryout/validation purposes but some short production runs are possible.
When unexpected issues arise or regular preventative maintenance is required, Clifty Engineering's experienced Toolmakers and Machinists will get you back up and running production quickly!
With a combined 100+ years of experience, Clifty Engineering's Design Team has a vast knowledge of tooling and is prepared to assist you in designing and manufacturing superior quality parts for your customers.
Clifty Engineering utilizes the latest in simulation technology to improve tooling functions and reduce costs.
Simulations can be stepped incrementally to analyze any potential problems throughout the forming process.
Simulation outputs include: Thinning, Splitting, Compression, Wrinkling, Trim Line Optimization, Tooling Interference and Spring Back.
