The Model 592 allows for a quick sensor swap without the removal of the installed polyurethane standard cable. Common configurations in 592 series are stock items. PVC, TPE and FEP cables are also available. Custom designed strain gage transducers that are capable of detecting pressure changes in the tubing of peristaltic infusion pumps. When fluid moves through the tubing under normal operation, the tubing pushes outward, applying a specific force on the sensor.
