Hot Gas Burners can simulate engine exhaust temperatures up to 1150°C and maximum flow-rates up to 700 standard cubic feet per minute. Temperatures and flows can be cycled to accelerate thermal-cycling or coupled with water spray/submersion to subject exhaust components to thermal shock testing. Hot Vibration testing on individual heavy duty components or vibration of entire aftertreatment assemblies is easily handled on our slip-tables. Numerous multi-shock test rigs each with load monitoring, stroke control, temperature control, and real-time load loss control. Each rig may be coupled with environmental conditions to simulate extreme cold or hot/humid.
We use industry standard MTS software and all of our testing projects include a comprehensive test report complete with charts and graphs.
