With on site design, casting and machining facilities, Westley Plastics specialise in taking engineering plastic products from concept to design and through the manufacturing process.

Our components offer an excellent alternative to traditional heavy and out-dated metals and can be found in a wide range of industries including construction, defence, automotive, rail and steel. We have in-house expertise of all types of engineering plastics and a complete understanding of the processes involved in working with engineering plastics.

With the largest nylon casting capacity for individual components, Westley Plastics can provide bespoke solutions for all applications. We also offer a wide range of off the shelf engineering plastics including our support rollers, crane pads and support blocks. Westley Plastics have developed our own range of Westlon Plastics, designed to offer improved material properties to suit the application and use.

Westley Plastics was established in 1964 as a complementary business to Westley Group, Europe's largest non-ferrous foundry group.
The original business was set up to produce fabric bearings into the steel industry as a replacement for heavier brass and bronze components.
Westley Plastics is able to supply and machine all types of industrial and engineering plastics.
Westley Plastics has also developed its own range of specialist materials, Westlon designed and engineered to offer superior performance over standard engineering plastics.
These have been specifically developed to suit certain material property requirements and applications.
All these materials are designed, tested and certified in our UK facility, making the Westlon range unique to Westley Plastics.

As a direct manufacturer, Westley Plastics have specialised in producing high integrity crane pads for a wide range of applications.
Our crane pads and outrigger pads are available in a range of materials to suit the individual application including our own Westlon materials: 1000 grade polyethylene and recycled polyethylene.
These crane pads are extremely hard wearing and have an in built memory, which adapts to the working surface but enables it to return to the original shape after use meaning they can be expected to last for a number of years.
