Hagerty Environmental, LLC was incorporated in 2004 with the goal of providing our clients the highest level of solutions-based, civil and environmental engineering consulting services. Solutions-based means that we don't just identify the problem; we provide a solution to our Client's problems so they can move on with their business.

Our clients consist of professional colleagues (consultants/attorneys), commercial and industrial clients, insurance companies, homeowner/property owner associations (HOAs/POAs), land management/preservation organizations, developers and contractors.Headquartered in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, our unique geographic location allows us to service multiple states within the Mid-Atlantic region (PA, DE, NJ, MD, VA) and beyond.

Our services are provided using associate and in-house licensed professional engineers, professional geologists, biologists, chemists and other environmental scientists and professionals. In addition to the required individual professional licenses, our firm also holds the required business, state and program-specific licenses and/or Certifications.
Services
Environmental site assessments, or ESAs, are typically conducted as part of a real estate transaction or as an initial evaluation of a property with an unknown or questionable environmental history.
Hagerty Environmental, LLC conducts each ESA with the Client's best interest at hand and considering the particular aspects of the property.
We understand the difference between an ESA on a parcel of farmland and an ESA on an abandoned industrial facility.
We also understand that the Client wants a timely, economical and accurate ESA without extraneous research and useless information.
Hagerty Environmental engineering personnel consist of experienced professional engineers, professional geologists and engineering support staff, including computer-aided design (CAD) technicians.
These personnel have extensive experience evaluating, selecting and designing the most appropriate solution for various civil and environmental challenges and understand the consequences of not conducting these phases correctly.
In many cases, the design phase begins with a pre-design investigation, bench-scale studies or pilot tests in order to confirm the appropriateness of the selected remedy and/or to generate design data.
There are literally hundreds of remedial options available to mitigate various environmental conditions.
Hagerty Environmental understands that the Client's primary interest is not in the type of remedy selected but that the selected remedy achieves the project objectives quickly and cost-effectively.
This is a critical decision point in the project since the cost of remediation constitutes a majority of the overall project costs.
Whether it is soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, or a combination thereof that are impacted, the success of a project lies in the ability to select the most appropriate remedy based on the site-specific characteristics (impacted media, contaminants, physical constraints, project goals, regulatory climate).
State and Federal regulations require facilities to comply with various environmental programs and prepare numerous environmental management and contingency plans.
Hagerty Environmental personnel have experience in investigating the sites, confirming compliance with appropriate regulations and preparing and certifying the appropriate plans.
Federal Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plans in accordance with 40 CFR Part 112.7 for petroleum products.
State (PADEP) Preparedness, Prevention and Contingency (PPC) Plans in accordance with PADEP Guidance.
The need for water resources and natural resources services has increased significantly in the past few years as a result of new environmental regulations, the desire to protect and preserve existing natural resources and a recent shift to a sustainable, low impact development (LID) process.
Hagerty Environmental's professional engineers, professional geologists and environmental scientists provide a wide range of water resources and natural resources services to meet the needs of our clients in this dynamic and often cumbersome regulatory climate.
