Deadlines Engineering has been providing structural design services since 1989.
Our customers include virtually every major manufacturer and distributor of engineered wood products on the west coast.
Aaron is a graduate of Oregon Institute of Technology, Oregon State University and Claremont Graduate School, and has been a Registered Professional Engineer since 1977.
In addition to our in house capabilities we contract with a number of outside engineering and design services, as the need arrives.

Repairs are often required as a result of field conditions in new construction, for fire damage, problems revealed during the sale of a building, or as a result of increased loading due to tenant improvements.
We provide engineering services for any engineered wood products, known as Structural Composite Lumber (SCL).
These products include Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) & Parallel Strand Lumber (PSL).
We also do repairs for Glulam, solid sawn lumber, solid sawn beams, posts and timbers.
Metal Plate Connected (MPC) trusses can often be repaired in the field using readily available materials such as plywood and 24's.

Custom design of many parts, the most complicated being the front and rear frame horn covers.
The rear frame was difficult due to the desire to move the gas tank forward by 3.
In doing so the tank rises up and hits the bottom of the body, so our design lowered the tank and made it hang below the top of the frame.

These inspections are to verify general conformance with WTCA and TPI truss fabrication guidelines.
Our inspections can include the cutting of wood members, quality of the finished trusses, handling and storage.
We also do inspections for bolted wood trusses either at the manufacturer's plant or in the field.
Bolted wood trusses need to be inspected for the quality of the shear plates, bolt hole connections and steel side plates.
