In 2012 Edge Engineering, Inc. merged its recumbent bicycle manufacturing division with Humming Bikes an electric bicycle company and created a new company: Cutting Edge Wheels.
Joe Fields, Randy Saddler and William Gillette are the three owners. The new company will be headed quartered in Townsend, TN close to the bike path and the Great Smoky Mountains.
