For over 100 years the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 17 has provided contractors with competent and qualified Operating Engineers and Operating Engineers Apprentices. Local 17 represents about 2,000 members. Local 17 in partnership with our employers has a training and apprenticeship program available.
Through our training program we strive to continuously upgrade the skills and education of our members to meet the needs of the continuing changing construction industry and OSHA regulation to keep our members safe.
