Mr. Poundstone is licensed as a Professional Engineer and Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Illinois along with several other states. He has been licensed as a Professional Engineer since 1999 and as a Land Surveyor since 2002. With over 27 years of experience in the engineering and surveying field, Mr. Poundstone has been the project manager for various engineering design and land surveying improvement projects.
The project scopes have varied widely from the platting and approval of urban and rural residential subdivisions along with commercial and industrial subdivisions, to the design of roads & streets, water and sewer extensions, storm water management, regulatory permitting for levee system improvements, detailed regulatory agency permitting (municipal, township, county state and federal), to construction management.
The engineering involved in the design for these projects has incorporated detailed hydraulic modeling, earthwork calculations, pavement design, storm water drainage systems, watermain and sanitary sewer systems, water treatment facilities, drainage reports, storm water pollution prevention plans and management, retaining wall design, subdivision layout, parking lot layout, project planning, estimating & budgeting, general civil engineering, project management and working closely with regulating agencies to provide clients with projects designed in accordance with all local, county, state and federal guidelines as required to obtain necessary construction and operating permits.
