In December of 2015, landslide cracks were observed just downslope of the tower foundation, causing the tower to lean.
Cascadia Geoservices was engaged to conduct geologic and geotechnical evaluations and provide remediation suggestions for the tower.
Site explorations were installed and inclinometer and tilt meter monitoring was conducted.
Our recommendation was to move the tower into the slope, away from the landslide and onto more stable ground.
