For his numerous contributions to the research field, in 2002, Dr. Terry was honored with a national award as the Black Engineer of the Year for Outstanding Technical Contributions in Industry. And he was selected in 2005 as one of the 50 Most Important Blacks in Research Science and Marquis Who's Who in Science and Engineering.
