William "Bill" James is a graduate of SUNY Rockland A.S.
Liberal Arts & Science) and of the University of Maryland at College Park (B.S. in Civil Engineering).
He is a licensed Professional Engineer and a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in both the state of New York and Maryland.
Bill started his career in Land Surveying in 1988 as a rodman on a surveying crew.
As he learned the art and skill of land surveying at the very basic levels, he also attended school for civil engineering.
Upon graduating, Bill worked in various capacities for design engineering firms as well as in the field performing construction inspection on multi-million dollar municipal construction projects rising eventually to be a Resident Engineer and construction manager in charge of all facets of quality control and assurance on said projects for clients such as the New York State Department of Transportation and the New York State Thruway Authority.
