Services
Our reward for our dedication to these principles is developing and refining our engineering experience in the Central Texas region for more than four decades.
Throughout this time, we've been deeply involved in the development and growth of the Central and West Texas area.
We are a full-service engineering firm performing engineering services to municipal/government entities, private developments, and individuals in the private sector.
Our Engineering Firm was established in 1965 and incorporated in 1971 by Charles Lynn Willis, the company's founding father.
No success story starts without a resolute plan.
Every project requires careful planning, and there is far more to this step of the process than many people realize.
At Willis Environmental Engineering, we believe that planning is essential to efficiently solve any problem, so that we can achieve a desired goal.
Planning solutions for environmental engineering projects is especially important because there are often strict, mandated guidelines that must be followed.
Additionally, productive planning will mitigate problems as time goes by, as the goal is to thoroughly investigate how the system will change as the years go by.
Water is our most precious natural resource, and it will likely become our most precious future commodity.
This underscores the importance of effective water system engineering, which is especially true in the ever-growing Central Texas region.
At Willis Environmental Engineering Inc., we've been helping Central Texas municipal/government entities, and companies in the private sector, engineer effective water systems since 1972.
As demands on this resource have increased dramatically, we've matured and refined our techniques while working directly with clients to address their unique water needs.
In many ways, waste water systems represent the inverse of engineered water systems.
At Willis Environmental Engineering Inc., we do not believe in the philosophy that dilution is the solution to pollution.
With more than 43 years serving the West and Central Texas region, we are fully equipped to handle the unique waste-water situations prevalent in our region.
It's impossible to overemphasize the importance of an effectively engineered waste-water system.
Stringent guidelines regulate this process, and all necessary permits must be acquired and maintained.
Dealing with drainage and storm water from streets and land-use area controls pollution and prevents flooding in case of an unexpected storm.
Street and bridge design also plays an important role in how these systems ultimately work.
Additionally, strict government guidelines and regulations must be followed throughout the storm water drainage design and construction phases.
All of which means that there is no substitute for knowledge and experience.
At Willis Environmental Engineering Inc., we understand that the pathway to a cost effective drainage solution is not always a straight line between two points.
