MECA Engineering performed a series of structural inspections, NDT, and analyses in order to determine a series of interim and final comprehensive repairs for the RHOB Turntable.
The project included engineering, design, and subsequent follow-up NDT and inspections in order to verify implementation of critical design elements.
MECA Engineering was contracted to perform inspection and design for repairs of the dock wall along the west side of the Indiana Harbor Canal.
Utilizing ground penetrating radar, underwater observation equipment, and additional inspection methods, damage was documented, a repair plan created, and design drawings were provided including bollards, expansion joints, bumpers/fenders, and appurtenances.
