Throughout his career, Dave had been employed by both design and construction companies before starting DGE 30 years ago. His career has afforded him an involvement in a diversity of projects including commercial structures, potable and wastewater treatment facilities, heavy and light industrial installations, roads, and bridges.
These projects have ranged up to $1 billion in value, and have been located in 15 different countries worldwide.

Over the past several years, concrete wall construction has taken a foothold in residential and commercial developments.
By using Insulating Concrete Forms (ICF), not only has it been possible to economically produce concrete wall elements, but the heat insulation properties (R-value) of the finished elements have been dramatically increased over that of conventional, insulated wood framing.
With the recent substantial increases in lumber and plywood prices, ICF construction is now cost-comparable with conventional framing.
