Since our founding in 1959, Cator, Ruma & Associates has worked with many architects and clients to build thriving communities across the western and central United States. Our project success has allowed us to develop a long-standing, repeat client base in many different institutional sectors including healthcare, education, manufacturing, government, laboratory, and justice.
Our depth of experience helps us achieve value-driven building systems that are optimized for energy efficiency and comfort. Mechanical systems are the "nerve center" of any project design. All aspects of comfort-temperature, humidity, noise, and indoor air quality-are affected by the HVAC system. To provide the best possible environment, we take into account multiple considerations such as reliability and comfort while being mindful of integrating our systems into the overall design aesthetic.
We have the capability to provide a range of fire protection engineering services specifically attuned to institutional facility design.
