We provide personalized, relationship-driven service to our clients and their needs.

We assign one manager to understand each project and be responsive to all its aspects. At the same time, every project includes the talents and capabilities of our team of professionals working together to produce exceptional results.

When and where are you happiest?
Some of my happiest moments in life were playing soccer in college at Fresno State (go Bulldogs!).
These days I am happiest when walking my dog at Carmel Beach or Veterans Park or cooking dinner and drinking wine at home with my husband.
What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
I think it would be interesting to be a nurse at a hospital.
I see it as a challenging job where I would be challenged to help the patients and meet their needs.
I find that I am happiest where I am right now in my life.
Over the years, we've had the great privilege to work with outstanding clients and collaborators.
We understand that working as a team with various perspectives and areas of expertise leads to creative solutions and amazing results.
We truly value our relationships and the collaborations that make what we do even better.

The engineering design for a critical, congested section of northbound Highway 1, which needed widening to accommodate a climbing lane and ease congestion, involved collaboration between private sector proponents, Monterey County Public Works and Planning staff, and Caltrans District 5.
The plans were prepared in an exceptionally short period of time and met the challenge of politically determined goals, mixed with rigid design standards and environmental policy limitations.
Whitson Engineers completed the Project Study Report (PSR) and Project Review (PR), environmental review plans, specifications and estimate.
The 48,000-square-foot Health Department headquarters-housing four bureaus and a public health laboratory-was constructed adjacent to the existing headquarters to eliminate the need for interim office space.
Our team supplied civil engineering and land surveying services for the new facility parking, utility and drainage improvements.
The multi-level building design worked with existing topography to minimize building mass.
Existing asphalt from the former parking lot was ground up and recycled for use as the base rock for the new site improvements.
The Holman Highway 68 Roundabout was designed to help relieve existing and future traffic congestions and improve traffic safety and operations.
Helping to minimize delay of emergency vehicle access to the Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP), reduce bypass traffic through the Skyline Forest Neighborhood, and improve access to Pebble Beach, CHOMP and the Beverly Manor Development.
Our land surveyors safely navigated the busy intersection of Holman Highway 68, Highway 1 off-ramps, and the Pebble Beach/17 Mile Drive main entry to provide construction related land surveying.
