Gerry Brey and brother-in-law Frank Stone started Electroarts, a neon sign company in Chicago, IL.
Starting in 1959 Gerry started Brey Electric in Beaumont, CA.
Brey Electric was a family owned business and the place where his son Mac Brey, founder and president of Avail Engineering, received his initial technical training.
Mac Brey, the youngest sibling of nine and was the first to attend and complete college.
He graduated from the University of Southern California in 1994.
