Primarily working for mining companies in the first few years, projects consisted of permitting mining operations, sewage facilities, refuse disposal areas and public water facilities for residents affected by older, abandoned mining sites before reclamation laws became effective in the late 1970s. As work expanded to the design of public water facilities and line extensions, additional employees were necessary to complete these projects.

Surveying services were added to our Civil, Mining and Environmental Engineering services, which included boundary surveys, construction stakeout and topographical surveys. Expansion of areas served with potable water by the Central Barbour PSD in Barbour County with a water treatment plant completed for the Catholic Center in Randolph County. Mining work was concentrated in Preston County through the West Virginia Small Operators Assistance Program (SOAP).

Additional projects for the Central Barbour Public Service District and the Town of Junior in Barbour County.
