Aspen Engineering is a family owned business that has provided mechanical engineering services for architects, contractors, public entities, and owners for over 35 years in Northern Nevada. Aspen's design personnel have all lived in the area for many years and are familiar with the challenges associated with a mountain/desert climate. Aspen was founded in 1968 by William and Hilde Baker and is currently operated by Wayne Baker as the sole proprietor.
Completed projects include medical facilities, resort-living projects, offices, restaurants, schools, manufacturing facilities, process engineering, community centers, and large custom homes. Other services provided by Aspen include life cycle cost analyses, value engineering analyses, cost estimation, and energy code compliance form preparation. Aspen has offered electrical engineering services in the past and all its personnel are familiar with electrical concepts and requirements for coordination.
Aspen is familiar with the requirements of energy efficiency standards such as Title 24, AB970, and LEED.
