Services
From characterizing a composite structure's various component material capabilities; to identifying the optimal combinations of material and manufacturing processes; to ensuring quality control and procedures for long lasting and predictable results we, at HEI, can help our customers achieve their goals.
We at HEI know composite pressure vessels; our base of experience spans many decades and many diverse applications.
Our customers know their market needs and product requirements and when we work together as a team we are able to bring to bear a comprehensive suite of services ranging from simple testing and analysis to full service turn-key new product design, development, and certification.
HyPerComp Engineering manufactures and produces composite cylinders and other composite parts for a variety of customers for a broad range of filament wound parts.
The necessary specialized machinery including filament winding machines, curing ovens, testing, materials handling plus other related equipment are all in place for supporting the diverse highly-specialized product requirements of our customers.
Quality Control standards are in accordance with internationally accepted norms as established by the various relevant governmental regulatory authorities.
HEI's reputation within the space industry for Hydrogen COPV innovation attracted the world's early adapters of Hydrogen for on-board use of automotive Hydrogen for fuel storage.
HEI successfully supplied the first "proof of concept" extreme high pressure gaseous and cryogenic compressed Hydrogen automotive solutions to the global leaders of automotive OEMs in the early adaption of Hydrogen COPVs and their proof-of-concept success.
We have successfully demonstrated capabilities in cryogenic compressed Hydrogen as well as very high pressure gaseous hydrogen, of which there is a representative top-level summary below.
HEI specializes in design, development, testing and certification services for a customer's relevant regulatory standard, code and governing agency.
Typical regulatory standards include NGV and ISO, as well as codes designated by the world's regulatory agencies such as: "DOT" in the USA, "TuV" in Germany, "CE" in Europe, KHK in Japan, CNSCPV in China, and Transport Canada in Canada.
HEI has long-standing relationships with the Independent Inspection Agencies that play a critical role in ensuring successful certification of products for the multiple global regulatory requirements, be they commercial, aerospace or military.
