KEM's culvert and bridge construction team has extensive background working with private contractors along with the Ohio Department of Transportation.
For bridge work it's imperative that construction follows the designer's objectives as specified in the contract documents.
KEM's experience helps to identify and resolve construction issues early on, which, in turn, reduces our clients' exposure to unwarranted claims along with costly change orders and delays.
McCartney & Associates, providing construction administration services for municipal services such as bridge repair and construction are our specialty.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) has several reimbursement grant programs available for recreational trails and local park projects including the Clean Ohio Trail Fund (COTF), Recreational Trails Program (RTP), NatureWorks, and the Land & Water Conservation Fund (LWCF).
Stormwater impacts many different aspects of our lives, including health, safety, and recreation.
Unfortunately, in the past it has been overlooked as an asset.
This has made stormwater program funding a challenge for many communities.
However, there are opportunities to fund robust and publicly beneficial stormwater projects and/or programs.
The Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) provides financing for communities through the State Capital Improvement Program (SCIP).
This funding can be up to $500,000 in the form of a zero-percent interest loan, a grant, or a combination of both.
