We embrace the technique of Integrated Design as we weave in-house Civil, Structural, and Architectural Engineering into a well coordinated and cohesive project while incorporating as many of the hundreds of green, earth friendly, sustainable development options that make sense to you. These can range from simple low impact site development practices to high efficiency building systems.
Since 1996 our attention to detail has earned us a small but loyal client base. For small to medium sized projects, we can efficiently assist you at every step of the way from design concept, permitting, and on through to completion of the construction phase.

Since 1996, Symons Engineering Consultants has been engaged in the local design community producing over seven hundred successful projects for our commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional clients.but it may not have started like you think.
At that time Dan Symons had just gained a new position as a young engineer at a promising design firm.
He quickly realized that not all businessmen were honest with their clients and found out that his supervisor was double billing clients on two projects for the same hour worked!

At Symons Engineering Consultants we believe "Quality is Contagious" and that principle applies to every step of a project.
If the work quality is contagious, each step will get better and better and if it is not, every step has the potential to unravel and compound a little more until ultimately the client is dissatified in the end.
We strive for thorough involvment of the client and clear communication at every step of the project so that they can make informed decisions at every milestone necessary.

Metal Building projects are a unique specialty of ours that typically incorporate the efforts our multi-disciplined team.
We've worked with many Pre-Engineered Metal Building Suppliers since the inception of the company and while they do an excellent job of provided plans and calculations for the building shell, the project usually requires all kinds of other creative solutions complimentary to the Pre-Engineered Metal Building Industry.
From initial site planning to site Civil Engineering design, to building Architectural Engineering for interior space planning and code compliance, and supplemental Structural Engineering for cranes, lofts, and mezzanines, it is important to incorporate all of these design considerations before placing a building order.
