Inglenook Engineering
Website
Inglenook Engineering strives to safeguard personnel, preserve the environment, and protect our clients' assets by increasing the effectiveness of process safety management systems at our client's facilities. Inglenook provides engineering services related to Process Safety Management (PSM) / Safety & Environmental Management System (SEMS) for the oil and gas, petrochemical and specialty chemical industries.

We place specific emphasis on engineering evaluation, conceptual design and consulting services related to relief systems design and design basis for overpressure protection and effluent handling. Services
We at Inglenook Engineering envision a world in which processing facilities operate efficiently and effectively without injuring personnel or the community; whether due to immediate effects, such as loss of containment, or long-term effects, such as damage to the environment.
To accomplish this vision, we strive to safeguard personnel, preserve the environment, and protect our client's assets by increasing the effectiveness of process safety management systems at our client's facilities.
We endeavor to provide valuable process engineering services to our clients; and we recognize that deep technical knowledge, enthusiasm, and industriousness are integral to our success.
A bench, especially either of two facing benches, placed in a nook or corner beside a fireplace.
When my colleagues and I started the company and needed a name, we thought about how we wanted a name that reflects our desire to be a complementary capability that adds value and extends usefulness to an existing environment without causing turbulence or intrusion.
My interests in architectural design provided the inspiration for our name, as this concept is exactly how a well-designed nook works.
We also wanted a name that reflects our desire to be a useful technical resource, and the common use of an inglenook as a library led us to choosing the name.add the fact that Inglenook Engineering has a nice ring to it and the rest is history.
Mr. Aubry Shackelford is an independently recognized expert in relief system design.
He provides advice to the industry in the development of recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices and also works as a consultant to corporations, helping them with the development of internal standards and guidelines related to overpressure protection and effluent handling.
Aubry has over a decade of experience in the engineering design and evaluation of pressure relief systems for operators in the oil and gas, petrochemical, and specialty chemical industries.
